Cousin Savana is a High School Graduate. Yay for Class of 2011!! We had the pleasure of celebrating with her last night at Rainier High School in Rainier, WA. We left the big city early to beat traffic and made it with plenty of time to let Joey run around. We had hoped this might help burn off energy so we could actually sit through graduation, but no! He ran and ran and ran. He ran outside and inside. He met a little friend in the cafeteria who played ball with him. An older woman named Genevieve. Very cute. Anyway, he had a good time and only had a few meltdowns. Quite amazing as he only had a one hour nap and it was past bedtime. We got to hear most of the graduation from the cafeteria. There was a HUGE turnout for only 84 kids. Quite impressive. You got to love the dynamics of a small town.
After graduation we headed back to the Kerkof house for some tasty treats. Amazingly Joey was still awake and it was around 9:30pm. We stayed to visit for about an hour. Joey loved playing in Weston, Traver and Rhace's room with the cars that it was the first thing he talked about this morning when he woke up. Hopefully we can go back and play some more when Joey has a bit more sleep under his belt.
