Christmas started out like any morning for us. Once Joey got up, he came to our bed to watch an episode of Little Einsteins and hydrate with some water. He also got to have breakfast in bed of a yummy Eggo Blueberry waffle. After the show and a quick diaper change is was off to the living room to see if Santa arrived. We will call this Christmas "The one with the boy and his mechanical dog, Biscuit." Joey is pretty much obsessed with all dogs stuffed or real, so when Mommy saw this gem online, I could not resist. Daddy ordered it up and it was Joey's big present from Mommy and Daddy. Biscuit was a huge hit. He answers a number of commands, reacts when you pet him and even wags his tail. Biscuit is a regular member of the family now. We figure this will tide Joey over until we move into our mansion and he can get a real dog. (Not like that is happening anytime soon.) Joey also got some other great things from Santa. I would say he had a great Christmas and was a little more into it than last year when he was our little lump on a log.
After a bath, nap and lunch, it was time to head to Seattle for the Mastro Family Christmas. This year was extra special since we were all together including our Philly Crew. This was also Philly Joe's First Christmas. Joey was once again spoiled by Bebe and Papa's Santa as well as by his Aunties and Uncles. We may need to move into that mansion sooner just to house all of Jojo's toys. There were even presents for Mommy and Daddy from Santa. (Thanks Bebe and Papa!) We had a great time! I think one of the most fun moments was when we gave Papa and Bebe their gift from everyone. Kitty and Jojo drove in the battery operated Mack Truck and Trailer!! Just like one Papa used to drive. I would say it was a big hit. It even has a truck horn on it. It was amazing to watch the kids drive the truck. They all tried it out. Somehow it just came natural to the boys and they did great. Kitty unfortunately is a bit of a woman driver and might need a little more instruction. But that's ok Kitty. You can have your servant boys, Jojo and Joe drive you around! You are the oldest. Time to pull rank! I think this truck will bring lots of fun for years to come. Or until the kids reach the weight limit. After gifts we dined on turkey and ham and lots of yummy dessert. We had a fabulous Christmas and can't wait for the fun next year will bring!
