Joey's official birthday, September 7, 2010

Joey officially turned one on September 7th. I took the day off to hang out with my little man. The day started out pretty mellow with watching some morning cartoons, a bath and breakfast. It was quite relaxing. A lot different then how things went down last year. Well, at least how I was told they went down. Who am I kidding, my memory of it is toast. Except for the initial trip to Swedish Hospital. Anywho, we are so happy that this year was great.

After our morning wake up routine we headed to Seattle to hang out with Papa, Bebe and the Brady's. Joey got his big gift from the Brady's which was the Handy Manny tool bench. It is very cool and will definitely grow with him. It should give him many years of enjoyment. And Daddy too! Joey also found out that he is going to be a cousin! Auntie Annie is having a baby at the end of March. We are very excited!! Kitty is going to be an amazing big sister!

We headed to lunch at Red Robin and Joey enjoyed some mac n' cheese. Somehow the waitress shorted him his birthday sundae and song. Not sure what happened there. Oh well we will try for next year. After lunch we went back to the house and played.

It is hard to believe we have made it a year already. This has been by far the best year of our lives. We are so fortunate to have a healthy little boy who makes us smile every day! We love you Jojo. Can't wait for this next year of adventures.
