Joey is five months old today. We can hardly believe it. Boy how time flies. Joey is still a great baby and sleeps quite well. (Except he has a cold currently which is cutting into his normal 8+ hours a night sleeping.) Joey is getting more and more social as the days go on. He smiles and laughs all the time. He loves playing in his jumperoo, taking walks, reading books, playing with toys, watching TV every now and then and bathtime. He has graduated to the big boy tub and loves it because he has so much room to kick. Mommy is definitely turning him into the next Michael Phelps. Joey loves spending time with his family. His most favorite is definitely cousin Kitty. They are quite the little buddies, as you can see from most of our posts.
Today we spent the day at Grammy and Papa Joe's. We did some shopping at Northgate and watched the Super Bowl. Joey was happy to see the Saints win! But, the most exciting part of his 5 month birthday was knowing that Uncle Kevin and Aunt Charlene are at the hospital in Philly being induced to have Baby Cousin Mastro!!!! We hope that there will be a new Mastro grandchild sometime tomorrow. We will keep the blog updated with the info as we get it. We wish them the best of luck for a safe and speedy delivery. We can't wait to Skype to meet the baby!!
Joey had many adventures this past month and looks forward to more. At the end of the month he gets to go to California to finally meet his Hernandez cousins and Great Uncle Marty and Great Aunt Karen. Joey is super excited!!
Joey , thanks for making these past five months so amazing for Mommy and Daddy. We can't wait to see what adventures next month brings. We love you sweetie!
