"I am ten months old!"

Joey turned ten months old on the 7th. We cannot believe how fast this year is flying by for all of us. Joey has had some new "firsts" this month. He has been eating more big kid food these days. He has tried mash potatoes, grilled cheese, pizza, yogurt, spaghetti and his favorite, Eggo Blueberry waffles.(Thanks to Papa and Bebe for the waffle idea.) Joey is also crawling all over the place. He climbs up on everything and likes to only hold on one handed. He is close to standing on his own. He also talks quite a bit. Some of it is his own little language but we definitely think some are real words. He says Dada, Mama, no, no, no and we think hi. Matt is also convinced he said Eggo yesterday. The jury is still out on that one. Joey still loves his BFF Cousin Kitty. He also loves flirting with the ladies. Everywhere we go he is smiling with many older women. We also found out this month that Joey loves Carrie Underwood. We put her video on one day and he was in love. I have tried other female singers and he only wants to see Carrie. It must be a blonde thing. (I haven't told him yet that Carrie just got married yesterday.)


We are looking forward to the new adventures this month including finally getting to meet Cousin Philly Joe!! Joey is real excited. Joey also gets to attend his first Seafair Sunday at GG and Great Papa's and Mastro Family picnic on Hood Canal. And yesterday he experienced a very cool "first", actually probably a once in a lifetime experience, of going to a boat christening. (See upcoming post for the details.)
