Kerkof Krew: Four Months Old!!!

Good morning 4 month old. Wearing his jammies from Great Uncle Marty and Great Aunt Karen AKA The Godfather and the Godmother (To me of course)

It is hard to believe our little man is already four months old. We have had so much fun with him these past four months and can't imagine life without him. Joey is such a good baby and has a very sweet personality. He is a great sleeper. He sleeps around 8-10 hours a night in his crib. ( I am sure I just jinxed myself by writing that down. Hope not. Knock on wood. ) And he continues to take good naps during the day. He loves to talk to us all the time. Both Matt and I know we have heard him say "hi". We work every day on our talking skills. Joey finally holds his head up high when on his tummy. He has been pretty lazy up to this point. He also loves to pull himself up whenever he is in a reclined position. We know he will love to sit up on his own soon. He loves playing with the dangling animals on his bouncer too. Joey also enjoys reading books and watching a little TV every now and then. We are working on rolling onto our side and then to his back or stomach. He definitely knows his mommy and daddy as well as family and friends he sees often. He will always greet you with a smile. I love it! He also laughs when he is tickled. It is really cute. Joey has also figured out how to scoot around in his crib on his back by kicking his legs. I am still waiting to see this in person.

Joey had lots of firsts this past month. He had Christmas Eve at the Mastro's and Kerkof's and Christmas Day and the day after at the Mastro's as well as New Years Eve at the Peterson's. He is a party animal. We also talked to Uncle Kevin and Aunt Char via web cam for the first time. We hope to get our own and do that more often especially when his new baby cousin arrives. We also had playdates with cousins Sophia, Logan Bobby and Aidan. And we made a trip to the aquarium with cousin Kitty and Mia. We had a busy month. Luckily mommy got to be a part of all of it as I am still on maternity leave until March. I am very fortunate that work afforded me so much leave.

Joey has a lot to look forward to this next month as we are going to Hawaii with Grammy, Papa Joe, Auntie Annie, Uncle David and his favorite, cousin Kitty. Joey loves his cousin and she loves her Jojo. She is so good with him. I definitely think they will be best buddies. Joey and Kitty go through withdrawls when they don't see each other. It is very cute.
